Hi, my name is Therese Hansen and on this blog I will report directly from the Ruby Fools conference in Copenhagen. Right now I am listening to Pragmatic Programmer Dave Thomas saying that he is a Ruby Fool and explaining why.
Dave is in love with Ruby! But why? Dave tries to explain, but also say that love is irrational and not to be explained. That Ruby is expressive, multi-paradigm and productive is just some of the reasons.
I think that what Dave is saying about being in love with your language and software tools is very true and a lesson that we all have to learn. You have to be in love with what you do every day or you should change what you do – don’t you think?
